Extreme and volatile childhood and teenage years were filled with legal matters and constant outbursts of defiance. Sport of boxing changed my life, it is my preferred treatment of choice. She had her daughter Bear Rose at 15-16 and came from abusive situations and a "scrappy crowd" — boxing was her restart and she dedicates everything to her daughter. Her nickname La Güera Catracha was given by her mom: "La Güera" for being white, "Catracha" for her Honduran heritage. She describes her fight style as a performance and an art form, not brawling.
