Kyven Gadson

Kyven "Showtime" Gadson is a pressure fighter with a wrestling foundation, fighting out of Myriad MMA Academy in Ames, Iowa by way of Waterloo. Wrestling runs in the family — his father and uncle both wrestled at Iowa State — and he followed them there before wrestling for Team USA until 2022. He also grew up doing tae kwon do and learned from wrestling coaches Mike VanArsdale and Kevin Jackson, both UFC veterans. MMA started as a coaching question: helping Myriad's fighters with their takedowns, he wanted to know what they were really dealing with in the cage, so he took a fight. He turned pro in October 2025 and has kept a busy pace since. His game carries over from the mat — punches, elbows, relentless pace, and breaking an opponent's spirit. His stated destination: MMA world champion.
